This last weekend
Camryn got her ears pierced! I know I've already heard...she is either too old or too young to get her ears pierced...and I win worst mother of the year award, but I have to say it really went better then I even thought it would. I tried when she was much younger, but the incompetent lady working at the Claire's in Vegas that we went to (honestly what was I thinking!) couldn't even get the dots straight with the marker, and after her fifth time trying just with the marker I decided that she was not touching my baby with anything more permanent and we left. So, after that experience it took a couple years, and a new city, to trust anyone with a piercing gun again. Lately
Camryn has been really into jewelry, purses, nail polish, and make-up. She puts on every piece of jewelry she owns and calls herself a princess. She also watches me getting ready and loves when I wear jewelry. She has been saying that she wants earrings like mommy. I just don't think she realized what that really meant, but I told her she could and the next time we were at the mall the opportunity presented itself.

Cam was so excited! She was told to sit in the chair and hold the bear. It took a while for the paperwork and such so Cami ended up getting a bit bored.

Then it came...not exactly what she expected!

This literally lasted for maybe 15 seconds. Then she got a lollipop and a mirror to see her new earrings and she was all smiles!

"Look I have earrings now!"
